DarkVision UBC Capstone Team Wins Year-Long Design Competition

Every year, groups of students in UBC’s prestigeous Engineering program must form teams and tackle a UBC Capstone project. These industry-sponsored, year-long projects pair students with Canadian companies to tackle real-world design issues.

Two of DarkVision’s co-founders, Graham Manders (CTO) and Stephen Robinson (CEO) are no strangers to UBC, having graduated from the elite Electro-Mechanical Engineering program years prior. And now their back to support student growth and development, and leverage the next-generation of engineering minds.

DarkVision’s UBC Capstone project won 1st place after being judged on design complexity and sophistication.
